Another Weekend Build: Introducing SIGNAL, a Systems-First B2B Outbound Framework

Most B2B outbound campaigns are not a tool problem. The stack is usually fine. Apollo for prospecting, Clay for enrichment, Instantly for sequencing, LinkedIn Sales Navigator for account intelligence. The tools exist. The problem is that nobody connects them into a system.
That is what I built this weekend.
What is SIGNAL?
SIGNAL is a six-phase B2B outbound lead generation framework that integrates AI at every stage of a campaign — from list building to post-campaign learning. It is designed to replace ad hoc outreach with a repeatable, data-driven engine where every touchpoint is personalized, every reply is acted on, and every campaign makes the next one smarter.
Each letter maps to a phase:
S — Segment & Score. Build and score your ICP list before you touch a single tool. Define fit, intent, and trigger signals. Separate Tier 1 from Tier 2 before the first message goes out.
I — Intel & Insight. Use Clay, Claygent, and LinkedIn alerts to build a one-paragraph account brief per target. Know the trigger event, the pain, and the buying committee before you write a word of copy.
G — Generate & Craft. Let AI do the heavy lifting on personalization. Dynamic first lines, vertical-specific pain paragraphs, A/B subject line pairs, and LinkedIn connection notes — all generated at scale using Clay and Claude.
N — Nurture & Sequence. Execute a multi-touch, multi-channel cadence with intelligence built in. AI-powered send-time optimization, engagement-triggered escalation, out-of-office detection, and reply classification running in the background throughout.
A — Activate & Amplify. Convert positive replies into booked meetings fast. AI drafts the follow-up within 15 minutes, generates a pre-call brief for the sales team, and fuels a LinkedIn content layer targeting accounts currently in sequence.
L — Learn & Loop. Run a structured debrief, extract winning message patterns, update the ICP scoring model, and document learnings into the playbook — so Cycle 2 starts smarter than Cycle 1 ended.
A Live Campaign Demo
To test the framework properly, I ran it as a sample campaign.
The canvas covers everything: ICP definition for healthcare and banking verticals, Clay enrichment architecture, a 7-step 30-day sequence, email copy for three key steps, LinkedIn outreach scripts, benchmark KPI targets, and the full learn loop. The primary offer was a test Strategic Value Assessment — a free 30-minute scoping session — which is the ideal cold CTA for a services firm because it removes purchase friction entirely.
The Lead Scoring App
The S-phase of SIGNAL — Segment and Score — is now live as a standalone web app:
It scores leads across three dimensions (Fit, Intent, and Engagement), outputs a Tier A through D classification, and surfaces a weekly priority action list. The scoring weights are configurable, so it adapts to different ICP definitions and industries.
Why a Framework and Not Just a Playbook?
A playbook tells you what to do. A framework tells you how to think about what to do — and then makes it repeatable.
SIGNAL is built on the same principle behind all of GrowthBoxx's Systems-First Marketing work: the goal is not to run a campaign, it is to build a campaign engine. One that runs consistently, improves with data, and does not require starting from scratch every quarter.
The tools are already on your desk. SIGNAL is the operating system that connects them.
