About this workshop:

You don't need to be a software engineer to build an app anymore. "Vibe coding" is the practice of building functional software tools through natural language direction rather than manual code writing.

In this lighthearted, fun weekend session, participants of all ages will learn how to talk to AI to create their very own interactive web tools.

We will replace complex B2B dashboards with fun, everyday apps. Whether you are 8 or 80, if you can describe your idea, you can build it!

What you will learn:

The Magic of Specification: Learn how to write a plain-language "brief" that tells the AI exactly what your app should look like and how it should behave.

The Art of Iteration: Discover how to talk to Claude to fix mistakes or add fun new features using behavioral descriptions (e.g., "make the button bounce when I click it") rather than technical code.

Instant Deployment: Learn how to take a single HTML file and launch it live on the internet in under 15 minutes using free tools like Netlify or Pagedrop.

Fun Vibe Coding Projects Built During the Session

Instead of business calculators, participants will use the exact same AI methodology to build fun, static HTML apps to share with friends and family:

    - The "Which Animal Are You?" Personality Quiz: A fun adaptation of a diagnostic assessment tool. Participants will design a quiz with custom questions, business logic for scoring, and funny personalized results.

    - The Allowance/Chore Tracker Calculator: A family-friendly adaptation of an ROI calculator. Kids can build a tool where they check off completed chores to calculate their weekly allowance, complete with celebratory animations!

    - The Interactive Storybook (Choose Your Own Adventure): Using AI to build a multi-panel interactive game where users click buttons to decide what the main character does next.
    - The Custom Digital Greeting Card: A highly visual HTML page with floating elements, brand colors (or favorite colors!), and a personalized message.

    and more!

plus:

Workshop Review and Testimonials

"I’ve attended a lot of tech workshops, but this was completely different. Within a couple of hours, I built a working web app without writing a single line of code. The process was simple, fun, and surprisingly powerful. This is the future of how people will build things." - Mark D.

"What impressed me most was how accessible everything felt. Even with zero coding experience, I was able to create and deploy my own interactive app. The framework of Specification, Iteration, and Deployment made everything easy to follow." - Angela R

"Grabe, ang saya ng workshop na ’to. Akala ko kailangan marunong ka mag-code, pero hindi pala. Sinabi ko lang yung idea ko, tapos ginawa na siya ng AI. Nakagawa pa ako ng quiz app na pinakita ko agad sa family ko." - Carla.

"Super helpful nito, especially for beginners. Hindi ako technical, pero nagawa ko yung sariling app ko in just one session. Ang galing kasi parang kausap mo lang yung AI tapos ginagawa na niya lahat. Sobrang empowering." - Jenny L.
